I'm about 3/4 done quilting this one, and I'm wondering how to quilt the borders. At first I was going to put kind of a wave pattern on the borders, but then as I was looking at the fabric borders, it occurred to me that I could just quilt around the circles in the print, and it could potentially look awesome. Any opinions?

If you machine quilted in the ditch of your quilt top, maybe you could mirror that pattern in the border? I would probably stick with the geometric rather than circular, JMHO

That is a very pretty quilt. Honestly, your quilting won't show up much on that busy border fabric, so I wouldn't bother doing a fancy pattern unless you reallllly want to.

Ask me how I know....

I am currently working on an elaborate border pattern - swags and bows - that is absolutely invisible on the fabric. I didn't realize it until I had quite a bit done, so I decided to finish it.
