Help deciding on block layout for Boom8 -- 3 choices for you :)
 

I have a "block" block tonight.

I've laid out 3 different designs and can't decide which one I want to use for a block for the Boomerang 8 Rubies swap. Worse yet, Dad can't decide which one he likes the best either.

Let me know which block you like by "A", "B" or "C" if you would. Of course if the "owner" of the f8 votes, her choice might weigh a little heavier.

I like choice B the most, for me, due to the secondary design.

choice B will give an over all pattern. Maybe you need to ask someone with the software to show what each quilt will look like when finished.

I like B as well. Great colors, by the way -- it will be a great looking quilt.

Each block she receives will be of a different pattern. She sends us a f8 and we make a block for her of our choice.

Well I will weigh in for Block A it will look great with the two rows of color set off by the black print in the overall design. I'm not much of a pinwheel person.

Great B's. I think the Bs has it!

I like B best.

Edit: Well, that was before I saw D. Like both B and D. May have a slight preference for D; a little more "gravitas" with the darker color in the center and rays of sun emanating from it.

Wellll now i just don't care. *throws things in the air and walks away*... hehe. Im also not a pinwheel fan but I like both of those pinwheels so should I play devil's advocate and say A then since I liked that as well.

I like B, but all of them are good choices. No matter which one you choose, you have all those points! :)

Well, I'm going to threw in a vote for "A". Of course, I am a linear person and that's affects everything I do! LOL

I still prefer B over the other three blocks choices

i like "b". there will be a secondary pattern with the green as the focus. more pinwheels.

IMHO B is the best. I may be biased. I have made that version up (with 9" squares) for baby quilts.

I like all 3 but "B" is my personal favorite.

I like a or b. They are both nice and give a definite feel to the block. Hope you get what I am saying.
