There is a website that helps you to find fabric. You put the info about the fabric you are looking for on the site and the dealers that check the site will contact you if they have it.

Does anyone know what I am talking about. I had it in my favorites and when my computer crashed I lost all that.

I think you are referring to findmyfabric.com. Atleast I hope that's what it is.

are you talking about Missing Fabrics.com?

Thanks will try both of these.

Find my Fabric site is in Beta - which means it is just getting started and not yet a lot of help to individuals - but is still worth checking out.

Missing Fabrics has been around for over a decade and may help alot if you're willing to go through many, many pages of fabrics.

I checked both the Missing Fabric and FindMyFabric sites. These where not the one I used. It was one that the posting was only checked by fabric shops. I can't remember where I found the info about the site to begin with.
