Help with fleece backing...

I am just about have my shoe quilt done. this is the first time that I am using fleece for the backing with no batting and doing FMQ ..it looks good so far, I did read all of the post and used a spray and lots of pins. I know the spray holds it in place well but didn't want to take any chances of the quilt top moving so I put pins in also.

The shoe quilt panel is from quilting addict, and I'm making it for a friend that is nuts over shoes...I show her the picture of quilting addict quilt and she wanted it made the same, she said she loved everything about it.

My question is do you have to FMQ on every part?

I joined the shoe blocks together with 2.5 strips. I just did some FMQ in the sq around the shoe and alittle on the boarders, I did not do any FMQ on the strips but did SITD around the sq......so what do you think will this quilt hold together or do I have to FMQ all over the quilt.

In the pic it looks like the fleece is loose but it is just puffy...I don't think I got the pic to go on...lol..nit sure how to do that

I wouldn't think you would need to FMQ the entire thing. Sounds to me like you have plenty of quilting to hold the quilt together and that should last through many many washings. You did SID around the strips so that should hold fine.
