I use the gloves with dots and they work fine for me. I have found that if I entally mark an area to quilt in, it works much better. I don't get lost and I'm able to control it better. I think each of us have a certain way of holding the fabric and Imthink that's just personal comfort.

I use machingers and sew slip. i have the fabric glide, but haven't used it enough to comment on it
