I have my quilt loaded on the Tin Lizzie and when I make a loop the loop end has the bobbin thread pulled up but the rest of the stitching looks fine - what's wrong?

I realize you are in a hurry, but you need to slow down when doing the loops. Have fun and I hope you get it finished in time.

You have too much tension in the top. Try reducing your top tension a bit and slowing down when you make your loops. This is called eyelashing. If your top tension is already pretty loose, try tightening your bobbin tension. Once you make your adjustments do a practice bit off to the side and check both sides to ensure your problem didn't suddenly move to the bottom of the quilt.

Here is a picture. The baby's name is on the star that the Sun Bonnet Sue Angel is holding.
Oops it's turned on it's side . |
It turned out so beautiful!!! And so glad you were able to "slow down" enough to get it finished on time. Hope you are having a great day.

Wow!! That looks great!! Glad you were able to slow down and get it to work properly. I am still practicing on my HQ16, but I do tend to want to rush about LOL And it never benefits my quilting at all!! :)
