Does anyone know what language this is? I tried to use the language coverter and none of the ones I picked worked. Any ideas? Here is the site. Hey and you might like the site too.

I believe it is Hungarian. Give that a try.

Good luck!

Yes, it is Hungary. I tried a Hungarian to English translator and some of the words translated, but most of them were not right. It must be some type of eastern European language though. The pattern looks really cool!

Yeah, Hungary was the first one I tried. Oh well I guess that is why. Different dialec. I will just read it through pictures. Thank!! :D

http://www.quiltescapes.com/ is a link on the bottom - great technique, and the site is in english. We've come a long ways from those paper plate templates I started out with.

I have no idea what the language is. It looks like something from eastern Europe or Eurasia. I sent it to my daughter who is living in that part of the world. Look at this thread from the site...isn't the blue quilt like the one FlyingV Goddess is wanting to make for a friend? I believe Flying calls hers Tsunami. I like her red and black much better than the blues.

HI, There is a quilter by the name of Louisa L. Smith who published a book called Strips' n Curves. It is very interesting and she has templates to go along with it. I know she has a web site but do not know what it is at this point. Maybe you could google it and find it. Marge by the way, I have the book

go the the home page and scroll down and you will find "AUSTRIA". If it is from Austria their native lanugage is German.
