jbsstrawberry - yep that is the block I was think of doing.

That block came from Marsha McCloskey's "Block Party". My scanner is down, but if you'd like to pm you address I'll make a copy and send you the pattern.

It's an awesome book, they may even be able to get it for you at your local library. I got it second hand, so I'm not sure how available it is at book stores.
