Card Trick pattern is one of my favorites. It is a 12 inch
block. How would I adjust the pattern to make it a 16 inch block. All advise would be greatly appreciated.
Have never attempted adjustments. Thanks

At the risk of souding stupid --- if there are templates, I would copy them at 133%. I think that would get it very close. I would make all the blocks that size. But, what do I know?

Thanks Kathy. I seldom use templates but will see
what I can find for size and take it to my copier. My brain sometimes misses easy.

Sounds like a plan - There is a tool that engineers use the is inexpensive where you can put is the size and it tells you how much to enlarge or decrease a pattern.

Can you measure the pieces and add 2" to it each piece? I think there are just two pieces per quarter of each block, right?

Quilter7x
I was thinking on those lines myself. Add 2 inches to
each piece. Put a block together, check it out and add
another inch if necessary. Sounds like a plan to me.

Thank you.

Draft it up on a piece of paper or xerox one and enlarge it.

To turn a 12 inch block into a 16 inch block you would increase it 125%.

Thank you Quilting Angels for your quick reply.
I added two inches to each piece, cut them out, pasted them
to my board, took a quick measurement and guess what?
It will work out perfect. Hurrah Love you all.
