I was given several packs of fat quarters and was wondering what quilts you would suggest for these

Rag quilts for me also. They make beautiful quilts.

Well, whatever you do... wash them first to get any loose dye out. I've found that homespuns have a tendency to run.

i've used homespun for rag quilts- they get very"raggy". also mixed them with denim to make a rag purse.

I used 10 homespuns FQ's with 10 regular cotton FQ's in similar colors, and made a turning twenty top. I'm in the process of handquilting it, and it's turning out great. I didn't prewash the homespuns, because I was advised they'd get all wonky. So, I'll use color-catchers when I wash the finished quilt.

Have fun, whatever you do.
