I am making a quilt with embroidered blocks for my husband tractor club. I want to put a block in between each embroidered tractor block....any ideas?????

Maybe an Irish Chain?

use john deer fabric. and do a nine block or you can do a nine block of triangles on point in between. it just depends on how big you are making the embroidered blocks. Also how detailed are you making the trackter blocks? are they going to be more of an outline or are they going to be fully "built"? just somethings to think about.

You could do Warm Wishes.
I did this one and never took a picture of it finished  |

You could still border them with a piano frame. That is all the Pooh blocks are bordered with.
You could also offset each row by 1/2 a block with a different block between each embroidered block. How about twist & turn (or as Kaye Wood's pattern- 'Topsy Turvy') |
