Please look at the picture of this quilt (not mine). How do i plan this out? I would love to try this but dont have a clue as to how i do it. Any help is totally appreciated. Thanks cheryl

Eleanor Burns has a tutorial on her www.quiltinaday.com it is called around the world. She calls it a quick trip quilt.

It's a simple trip around world. The easiest method I know of is Eleanor Burns strip piecing. She has book for the pattern available at ther Quilt in a Day website and at many fabric stores.

It's super fast and easy to do.

That is called a "Trip around the world" and it's surprisingly easy. Search most anywhere for the pattern - there may even be a tutorial here on the board.

I think that would be the easiest way to incorporate the colors you want to use in this pattern :D:D:D

Sure, graph paper works well. I did one years ago when I was just starting out. Did each block and strip individually and laid them out on my bed (didn't have a design wall back then). It took much longer than a day! But I had fun and it worked okay.

This was the very first pattern and quilt I ever did! It is on my bed now, very easy strip piecing.
