Oh Honey - get the Clover device - You'll love it!!!!

I have a collection going and it's so mindless and portable you can do it anywhere under any circumstance!
I just ordered one of those....I hope I like it
cut a circle (say 2" circle) stitch a running basting stitch 1/4" around the circle. pull the threads holding your finger (or a washer/plastic circle...)inside. pull the threads to gather so your raw edges gather in the center. tie off.
they can be used gather up, or gather down, with a button in the center, just the gather, sky's the limit...
have fun
I've never heard of that, where can you get it, JoAnn's?
Where and how do you use your yo yo"s? I made a boo boo on my 2yr old grandchilds quilt on the lower right back corner so when I add my label I thought I would add a yo yo or two to help cover up my boo boo.
Good thinker! I'm sure you could get them at Joann's and probably with a coupon (if it's not on sale). It's under $10 and worth every penny for me.Quote:

I keep the kit of 5" charms, the tool, scissors, hand thread, and needles in a medium size makeup bag. I usually leave the kit in my car.
I've seen them tacked together on the edges and used like a doily. That may be my first project with them.
I guess I could make them any size couldn't I?
If you just want to make a few ---- take an old CD or DVD and trace around it for a perfect circle. If you use starch --- go lightly with it so the yo-yo will gather easily.
