If you use the search function at the top of page, many have made them and shared their experiences.

be careful don't iron on the design as it will come off onto your iron and smear the tshirt as well, use a ironing cloth. I speak from experience. The light weight interface is critical. good luck.

i have made a few, but just started another one yesterday. i was not looking forward to it, but i thought of another way. i cut both the front and back into squares. then sandwiched each set, so if it is 16" square, use 15" batting, then quilt each set, not too much tho. then put it together like a rag quilt. the cut edges were left on the top side of the quilt. the raw edges to not ravel and they curl up a bit. it was alot easier than the interfacing method. oh, i placed the stretch of the back side of the shirt the opposite way of the front to reduce stretching.

Hello - I am presently in the process of making one and hopefully my last because I am having trouble with t-shirts having been washed repeatedly with fabric sheets. Not only does it smell and bother my allergies, the main problem is the backing does not stay stuck very easily. Good luck. Follow the thread below for my progress thus far (A Board thread).
