I have 30 yo-yo's done and thought I was doing pretty well....now I am worried!

you don't say how large the yo yo's are or the size of the bed. size finished, that is.
So without these important details I estimate it will take about 15,636 for the bedspread....lol

I am sorry!! They are the "60mm" clover yo-yo's. Not sure of the size of the bed beyond double. :(
And ouch! 15,636....Good thing I have a newborn and never sleep anyway!! ;)
Thanks all for the info my Friends! I have a loooooooooooooooong way to go I guess. Guess I should hit Joann's for some more fat quarters to use!!
:)

60 mm = 2.36 inches so you can look at nance-ell's chart and decide for yourself. Since yours are a bit bigger than 2 inches you can drop a row or two.

ummmm..... too many? (for me, anyway!)

I'm currently making a twin size yo yo quilt, and it's been 6 months so far. LOL So fair warning it may take longer than you think. I'm in the hundreds for yo yos so far. Also attaching it to a backing as you work helps, because the weight may mess it up.

I'm using different sizes and shapes for a fall wall hanging, and plan on somewhat duplicating the scene for a spring one. I have a couple of patterns for some Christmas tree ornaments, but a yoyo quilt didn't appeal to me. Now I know why!! Happy yoyo making to all of you!
