... Elizabeth's Studio?

They have some wonderful designs, but I don't think that they do the advertising that some of the larger companies do.

I was just wondering how widely known they are in this community.

They're probably best known for their "Fruit Ladies" and "North American Wildlife" groups.

Now that maybe your memory has been jogged a bit... have you heard of them?

craftybear 06-03-2010 02:41 PM

never heard of them

crossginny 06-03-2010 02:43 PM

yes I've heard of them....dont they have the "quilts" line too.......scenic fabric with houses and quilts on the clothes line or on the fence??

Jim's Gem 06-03-2010 02:48 PM

I have heard of them.

CarrieAnne 06-03-2010 02:50 PM

No, but the North American Wildlife piqued my curiosity!

CajunQuilter2 06-03-2010 03:11 PM

I have seen the fruit ladies, and if the North American line is what your avatar is I have bought the bunnies and Loved it. So I guess in that sence I have heard of them, did not know the name before you told us tho.

I have purchased thier fabrics on several occassions..very nice quality. I don't see it around that much.

I have downloaded all their patterns. I have many of their novelty/wildlife fabrics.

They have nice fabrics, including many novelty/conversation prints. They did the "Baby Talk" sign language fabric with the wonderful drawings from Joy Allen, author of the children's book, "Baby Signs". Nice line.

Yes, and I think their fabrics are gorgeous! They should advertise more. :)

Yes, Elizabeth's Studio did do the "quilts" group. They have more like that in the works.

They've also decided to keep some of their more popular designs "permanently available classics". For this I'm really glad! Their classics include the landscape fabrics and the wild animals, plus some of the sports/music/games prints.

Personally, I think their wildlife prints are second to none, in terms of realism and the finely detailed designs.

Here's a link to their website. Actually, it's a blog. (I suspect they're not so tech-savvy.) And a blog does suffice to showcase their fabrics. They have some B-I-G pictures here so you can really see the details. Enjoy!

My avatar is from Fabri-Quilt's "Backyard Bandits" group. It so happens that #1 son had a stuffed raccoon toy that was his favorite when he was little; that's why I chose the raccoon. (Sentimental...)

Thanks Favorite Fabris! I've heard of them too. The "quilt" scenes are from Diana Phalen. She also does a line of quilt puzzle scenes.

The fabrics were featured in the Winter '09 issue of Fabric Trends along with an article about Diane Phalen and a pattern from the Country Quilts collection.

Wonder what the next set will look like---any chance of a preview??

I have some of the fruit ladies fabric, but couldn't tell you who made it. So although I have not heard of them by name, I do have some of their fabric.

Does that help?
