Does any one have any   ideas on websites that will attempt to match any material you send them right down to the exact hue or tint of the material ; anperhaps offer a free or low fee for this service as well as send a sample to let you see for yourself? I am often  perplexed about matching......

If the fabric has the color dots along the selvage edge, that is a good way to find matching fabric.

There was something in Superior Threads Newsletter a couple months ago about a site that you could scan in your fabric and the computer would search. You might try the Superior Threads site or contact them for the place.

Thanks for the info. It sounds like really good info and will certainly look up that website called Superior Threads.
