Looking through my closet I realize I have a couple of UFO's that haven't been touched since the late 90's. I'd love to say I'll finish it some day - but will I? The oldest UFO i completed was 12 years old. right after I finished it the lovely new pup chewed a little hole it in, thankfully it had primitive applique on it so it was an easy fix.

how old is your oldest UFO?

Dead and buried. I had one about five years old. The blocks were completed. I gave it to someone just starting to quilt. Good practice sewing the block together. Haven't checked on it's progress.................

22 years old, my mom started it when I was pregnant with my daughter. I will be finishing it and giving it to my mom on her birthday this year.

One year old and I hate that I have let it go this long but I plan to finish it in Jan of next year.

1992!!!!!!!!!! I did the Jinny Beyer series fabrics that were 1492-1992. Got it all together, in a class- I think 6 month or something. Still not quilted!!!
Had a lot of trouble with my oldest son who hated it for political reasons SIGH!!!!!!!!! He was at that stage........
I put it away until he got older and forgot to get it back out lol
Thanks for the reminder!!! :D:D

I have two from 1977 when I took my first quilting class at Night School. I have recently unearthed them and now have enough Churn Dash blocks and Dresdan Plates to make two or maybe three full sized quilts. They need to be finished for my guild's PIG project which ends in June. I plan to finish them and give one to each of my sisters as they have all the old fabrics from our family home which was sold last year when our parents died. They will make excellent family memory quilts and get them out of those shoe boxes!

An embroidered wall-hanging --- it's been sitting around for over 35 yrs.....you'd think I'd finish it or get rid of it!!!!
