Has anyone used this? Is it still available for a Mega Quilter? I'm new at quilting and want to do some free motion work but my "practice" pieces are not all the great...I think a stitch regulator might help, but is this one worth it? Any help would be appreciated.

Before you buy ... .Test drive. and take you time on that drive, do not let anyone distract you from what you want to experience. It is a big purchase so ... drive it and then think about it.

I have the Husqvarna Stitch Mover....I've taken it out of the box once, tried it and put it back...Basically the mover just gives you more of a grip of framed fabric to move but unless you have really practiced and gotten your movement down its really no more help with just moving the fabric free of a frame.
I've heard from friends who have the regulator and again are not impressed...and it's costly....I'd advise just keep practicing free form...and ave yourself some money.

Thnks. I guess I should practice, practice free motion quilting. I'm a little intimidated by what I have seen others do with free motion quilting...mine (after just a little playing around) looks awful. I can't seem to coordinate my speed with the foot control and my movement of the material! I hope it's not too long a learning curve.
