Is it a good machine? Is it a good price? I just found this for sale locally with less than 24 hrs time actual use for the machine, including all feet/hoops/accessories. I tried to research it but all the links I could find show them at almost 7k dollars. So should I snap it up? I've driven cars that cost less (much less lol) but I'm tired of fighting my machine and I think DH is tired of hearing me curse at it = ) so he would not really have any issues...

I'd say that's a good price, but check it out thoroughly. I've heard of a lot of different problems with the Diamond. It may be a refurbished one, a dud, or someone selling something that they don't know the worth.

True, I kinda have that "scam alert" feeling going on right now... sometimes too good to be true IS too good to be true

If it's via Craigs List, be sure you see it in person and it's not a scam. There have been a LOT of CL sewing machine scams running lately!! This price they're asking is way too low and that in itself is VERY fishy.

It is most definately a good price!! Reputable dealer? Warranites? If yes, and you have the $, then I so would be on it!! That is my someday machine...

There really are some genuinely good deals out there in this economy and that is a great deal on a Diamond. I love my Diamond so I would say go for it :-)
