I had seen a beautiful butterfly quilt on this board ages ago, it was from an old Better Homes and Gardens quilt lovers book 3.. I searched everywhere but couldn't find it below $45 including shipping. I almost gave up but with one more try there it was, in USA and costing $20 including shipping, it was used but I took a chance and have waited since before Christmas but today my lovely book came, I was expecting a paper back but it is hard cover spiral bound almost new with the pattern sheets intact. Luck was with me for once and I am a very Happy Bunny. A small thing I know but after a difficult year a small happiness is so very welcome.

Good for you, I am happy for you. Small happinesses, in my opinion, are the best!

I am glad it worked out for you. I have gotten several books on line and have been pleased with all of them.

I have alot of my books spiral bound. Love the way the pages turn and I can make copies of patterns easier so that I can mark up the areas I want to mark and my book is still pristine. I am a book hoarder. I have a problem. ha I'm waiting now for the Elm Creek Pattern books to arrive.

When you have your books spiral bound how do you keep them? Do you use a notebook or have several books in a notebook or do you just keep the covers.

The covers are still there, they just have the holes poked in the for the sprial to go through. The whole book is intact, no need for a separate notebook.

What a happy and wonderful surprise :D:D:D
