I am a mad quilter are you?
 

I have just been watching the news showing an Egyptian guiding a boat on the Nile. I was suddenly thinking that is lovely cotton fabric with a close thread backing fabric or would it look better pieced. Mad mad mad. Wanting men's shirts and especially some ties but to undress the poor man and cut up his clothes. It was a lovely pure white.
Do others do this or am I on my own.

LOL - that's usually not the reason women want to undress a man!

But, I have seen floor tile or stained glass windows where I thought it would make a great quilt pattern.

i took a picture of some carpet and upholstery in the doctors office the other day. the color and pattern triggered something in me ;-)

The wood flooring in the Copenhagen Airport is a perfect Chinese Coin... so I took a picture in case I ever want to do one with subtle tone on tone changes... I've always liked that floor.
