I Can Sew a Perfect Seam...
...just as soon as the thread in my bobbin runs out. True story...

You sound like me! don't you hate when that happens!
|

I hate when the bobbin runs out. I get into production mode and wouldn't you know it the bobbin runs out. In the last year I traded in my Bernina 1260 on an Artisa 185. Not only are the bobbins different, three times as expensive, and won't fit my smaller portable Bernina 200, they seem to be constantly running out. I am very fortunate, my favorite Bernina dealer is a Menninote gentleman who is very accomadating. He not only gave me a good trade in on my old machine he bought back the dozens of extra feet I had purchased for it over the years. The money came in handy to be able to afford a decent supply of the three times more expensive bobbins for the Artista.

Ohhhhh! How true!

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one. But WHY?
|
Don't you love it, when you finished the perfect, lonnnnng seam . . . just to discover the bobbin ran out, half-way through it?
|
LOL! Here I thought I was going to have to be snarky and call you a show-off :-) Mine usually runs out at the beginning of a very difficult seam
