Extreme Quilter, I sure would like a better look at your avatar. It looks like a picture of the desert with mountains in the background with a closeup in the center. am I close? love the colors whatever it is.

Hi, Kathy. I'm sorry my avatar doesn't show my quilt clearly enough. I'm not computer savvy enough to know how to make it better, but one of these days I will try again. Your eyes are pretty sharp, kiddo. The inner rectangle was a panel of brilliant mountains, trees and rolling hills. I fussy cut some horses and appliqued them onto the panel. Then I extended the colors into the borders in sections. Each section was made up of different fabrics and quilted in different patterns. Some sections used Ricky Tims' convergence method. The quilt was donated to Soldiers' Angels, Blankets of Hope.

Extreme quilter, maybe if you posted your avatar like you were posting a pic for everyone to see here. That might show a bigger pic for us all.
