I bought fleece today to make a quick little quillow for my grandson-sounds simple so far. I have spent the last 45 min trying to get this stuff squared up so I can use it! I have enough left after all this to make him a wonderful fleece (Steelers) HANKIE!!! Maybe I should have picked another team-or maybe the team name is supposed to be on a werid angle but it was just not working for me. Thanks for letting me vent!!

What a shame! And how frustrating!
Hugs! |
I am sorry that your quillow did not turn out the way you wanted it to!!! It can be soo frustrating when a project does not go as planned :evil:

Yep, most of those are not printed "on the square".

Regardless, your grandson will love it, I'm sure.

It's the thought that counts!! {{hugs}}

Sometimes that fleece is a wonder and sometimes it's the most frustrating fabric to work with in so many ways! I'm sure he'll love the quillow or the hankie because YOU made it!
Venting really helps for so many things, doesn't it? Hugs, Sharon |
thanks for your support!! When I get home I will just get a new piece and try again. Even if it is crooked I'll make myself use it--he is too little to know that sometimes Nina is a little off center too! Thanks again!

Are there tricks to working with fleece? I've been tempted to back a quilt with it (without batting), but would think the edges would curl.
