Such BEAUTIFUL work from everybody. Fantastic. but I gotta pick just one

frugalfabrics 12-31-2010 11:49 AM

Yup, me too. I love how this quilting board has got my ideas flowing...now just to find the time to quilt.

Jim's Gem 12-31-2010 11:53 AM

Join the crowd!!!!
There is not enough time to be able to make all the gorgeous quilts that are shown on here!!!

newquilter10 12-31-2010 11:55 AM

I can join your group too. I even have some bookmarked to go back to.

OKLAHOMA PEACH 12-31-2010 11:55 AM

   Amen I wish there was a button to tell everyone at the same time how great their quilts are.

makakehau 12-31-2010 12:06 PM

Ha! ha! I do that too. The picture section is one of the first areas I just have to look at when I get to the forum. There are so many truely talented artists and quilters here posting the most beautiful quilts I have ever seen! It is like an endless "all you can eat" buffet of inspiration. My mind is stuffed! I should live long enough to make all the quilts I'd like to make.

:D

QazyQltr 12-31-2010 12:42 PM

Does this mean we're 'patternaholics' too??

cjomomma 12-31-2010 12:44 PM

Just wait til you start dreaming about the quilts or seeing quilt patterns in the oddest places. LOL!!

JulieR 12-31-2010 12:48 PM

One of my New Year's resolutions is to organize the bookmarks in my Quilting folder because I have so many "ooh, that's so pretty!" links!

twospoiledhuskies 12-31-2010 12:51 PM

So true, I have been saving the ones I like in "my pictures". My computer is starting to run slower because I have so much in memory. Guess I need to copy them to a CD - hee hee :-D

phillipste01 12-31-2010 12:54 PM

I am glad to know I am NOT alone

dellareya 12-31-2010 12:56 PM

I love seeing all the beautiful projects on here. I have more things then ever on my to do list.

Threadedneedle 12-31-2010 12:58 PM

Ramona Byrd 12-31-2010 01:34 PM

I have enough lovely pictures on my computer that I'm thinking of getting something to load them on to clear up some space.

I love looking at them and planning. Just planning on how to make them soothes me when I'm irritated at other things or people.

LoisN 12-31-2010 01:37 PM

I do that all the time. Glad I'm not alone. ...and here I sit at the computer, not making anything.

klgreene 12-31-2010 01:40 PM

You are not alone. My problem is that every pattern I see, sale told about on here, templates, etc. I buy. I'm going broke. I may have to go cold turkey for a month or so from looking on here. I thought I was done purchasing for the year. Then saw another post...loved the tut, ordered the templates. I am not going to order in 2011, I am not going to order in 2011, I am not going to order in 2011.....I hope!

CompulsiveQuilter 12-31-2010 01:47 PM

Just today I started a binder, with only 25 sheet protectors. The label I put says "Things I really, really, really want to make."
Some are easy gifty-things and some are really difficult quilts. Some are patterns I've already purchased and some are xeroxed copies from books and magazines I've purchased. Some are really off the beaten path for me.
My plan is to go through this binder one-by-one for 2011 and quit bouncing all over the place.

phillipste01 12-31-2010 01:53 PM

What do we do??? Maybe we need to start a quilters anonymous

sueisallaboutquilts 12-31-2010 02:24 PM

Oh you are certainly not alone!! Sometimes I get frustrated thinking about all the quilts I want to do after seeing all the "eye candy" !!!
But it's so much fun here :D

littlehud 12-31-2010 07:26 PM

I have that same problem here. I need to live forever to finish my "I want to do this" list.

ditto

costumegirl 12-31-2010 07:41 PM

Me too!!! Me too!!! I am so inspired by all of the wonderfully creative ideas from so many on this board!! I may not be able to make them all but it is so much fun looking at everyone's pics and chatting about different techniques!!! I will try hard to accomplish a few 'special' projects!! Unfortunately, so many ideas but so little time!! :)

sewwhat85 12-31-2010 08:55 PM

lol

Maride 12-31-2010 09:23 PM

I have a folder on my desktop. If I see a quilt I like I right click and save it to that folder. When I feel a little dry and need inspiration I open it, see all the quilts, and before I see them all I am sewing, and is not even similar to any of the quilts saved. Just there to provide inspiration.

luvTooQuilt 12-31-2010 09:48 PM

Yup.. me too!!!!!

I already do. Works like an alarm clock for me - must get up to read the message board and make more notes! Only it seems I get less done than before - this one, no-that one... I can't make up my mind and soon it's too late to start anything that day anyway.
Happy New Year Everybody!

OneMoreQuilt 12-31-2010 10:45 PM

It's nice to know we have things in common.

tmg 01-01-2011 02:43 AM

All the time. U see something I want to make and just don't do it

DottyD 01-01-2011 02:55 AM

Yes, I certainly see patterns that I "SAVE" into a computer
folder or buy patterns that I will make NEXT !!!
I now have so many, may need a bigger memory on my computer !!!! LOL

smagruder 01-01-2011 03:17 AM

Boy, we are sure sitting in a very crowded room together!!! Time to just pick one and start it.

i do that too!
when i save it to "my pictures", i name the file, the person board name, who made the quilt or block..that way i know who acknowlege..and to ask a question if i need too!

i still "bookmark" them here though.

NUTMEG10 01-01-2011 04:39 AM

I join you on this topic. Such beautiful work that everyone does and my head is full of want to make this. I will say it keeps my interest going in trying to make as much as I can. Thanks all.

mollymct 01-01-2011 05:03 AM

Yup. Welcome to my world. I guess it's a good problem to have!

QuiltswithConvicts 01-01-2011 05:07 AM

And there's a problem with this?

I think that's just very normal for an quilter! Good luck on getting something started, then on finishing it.

You'll never finish anything unless you first start it. Have fun.
