A friend of mine purchased some fabric panels at a garage sale. She is making crib quilts etc. for her church bazaar. In the material there are some holes from where the quilts have been tied. She wants to know is there any way to remove the holes.
I told her that I did not think so but would ask.

I don't think you can remove them completely. Did she try washing the panels to see if the weave of the fabric would close them some ? Otherwise she can try and cover them with patches of embroidery ?

Yes she did try washing them. I will mention about the embroidery. I just thought of something too---maybe she could get some of those small flower embellishments that used to be on little girls dresses.

Little flower/decorative appliques may work too :D:D:D

if the threads of the fabric arent broken it can be worked with a needle to seperate the threads back to their place. if there is a hole then its a HOLE and will need to be covered up.

Sounds like embroidery is a good solution.
