Boston.. Been there, still kinda stuck there. For me its been a long cold dreary winter. But never fear it will return and when it does look out, you will be a quilting fool  It happens to all of us at one time or another

I have gone for month and months. It has always helped to have a purpose, like a new baby, or someone that needed something to uplift their spirits. I am working on a table runner for my cousin and a Baseball Quilt for my nephew. It always makes it exciting when you make something for someone else and you anticipate their reaction when you give it to them. Then my next project will be for my sisiter. I am sure there is someone out there that would love a quilt gift.

Living in Phx AZ you go outside when you can. Next month it will be too hot to go out so April is the last perfect weather month. I want to quilt but cant resist the patio it is so beautiful outside right now.

Thanks for all the tips. I guess it will come to me in time. Maybe I will go feel the fabric.

I went to our quilting club at church this morning, and got insulted by the husband of one of the ladies. I ended up walking home without doing any stitching.

Seems there are always a small percentage of bigots in a congregation.
Pasters need to give a talk about these ungodly people who give Church's a bad name.
Of course these people never recognize themselves.

This is why I hate deadlines. On the other hand, babies won't wait.

CindyBee, now you got that Loretta Lynn song going thru my head,...
but here in Topeka, the screen door's a bangin,
something, something, and the warsh needs a hangin,
One wants a cookie, and one needs a changin,
Lord, one's on the way!

You got insulted at church  Now that is just not right :x

When I get in a funk I just surf the online shops and look through their new arrival and patterns. I usually find something I love and just have to have. When that package shows up in the mail it's like Christmas! I'm off planning and back into it again.

I get that a lot. I keep a book around to read during those times. Then eventully the mood hits me and I'm back at it again. I think we all have the spell every so often. Just take a little time off and then go back to it.
I've got 3 quilts I'm currently working on. I get tired of one and go work on one of the others for awhile, that helps too. Right now, I've decided it's time to finish my daughter-in- laws quilt I've been working on off and on for the last year and a half. I'm tired of my grandson's trains time for a change.
:D I've always got to many irons in the fire. I do eventually get them done.
