I've talked to him twice on the phone and haven't said anything...He got delayed by the weather back east or he would have been here. LoL! Bless his heart ~ he tried to be sneaky. =)

CarrieAnne 12-17-2010 06:51 PM

hperttula123 12-17-2010 06:54 PM

Quiltforme 12-17-2010 06:56 PM

Take it over to the neighbors house and that way it can still be a surprise :) Maybe have the neighbor bring it over when he gets home with some "excuse" why the mix up :)

missionslady 12-17-2010 08:35 PM

Did you suspect you might be getting this, or is it a total surprise? My husband is clueless when it comes to anything sewing related, so when I've gotten sewing equipment for Christmas, I had to guide him along or order it myself:-) Either way, sounds like you are going to have a wonderful Christmas!

Sewze 12-18-2010 04:23 AM

Congratulations!!! You'll love it.

Carol W 12-18-2010 05:12 AM

damaquilts 12-18-2010 05:35 AM

Great gift.I saw mine too. My brother bought me a new computer. Not set up yet. It will go in my sewing room when I get my desk. It will be set up to be the TV too. When we pulled my computer out of the box from the move it didn't want to work. He fixes computers so I wasn't worried but after we talked a bit I wanted to get a larger monitor to watch tv, dvds etc. I asked him about one. Soo I took a nap, he went to the store on his way home from work .
He told me he got me a new monitor, I said I could have gotten one myself next month or the month after. Well he took me into the living room and under the tree is a big box. He said I found a 23 inch monitor but the box came with a CPU keyboard and mouse. Good grief!! LOL He is the best brother. Now if I could just bring my friends from GA, It would be all good here in VA.

quilterken 12-18-2010 05:38 AM

I promise not to peek. I did tell him last night when I talked to him. He was disappointed..if he had got to leave before the icy snow hit he would have been here to guard the door. But they weren't suppose to deliver it until next week. I will "patiently" wait until he is here and we can open it together and he can help me figure it out.

I didn't tell him what I was dreamimg about...but my daughter has been asking alot of questions..I thought she was maybe finally getting interested in sewing with me. =) But my hub is not shy..he started calling all the quilt shops and asking lots of questions himself. One of the many many things I LOVE about him.

GammaLou 12-18-2010 01:55 PM

He absolutely is! He said..."you know I must love you if I'm feeding your habit.." He had no idea when he married me just what a quilter was or how involved one can get. he's slowly learning...We just celebrated our 3 year anniversary in Sept and its been 3 of the best years of my life. =)

ScubaK 12-19-2010 11:14 PM

I love my GO...it's the best money spent besides the ALTO quilt cutter (cutting mat system) and my machines...
