For example, did you know there was a section called Personal Diaries and Announcements? One of my watched topics went from here to there. I keep thinking I am an expert here, and then I learn something that has obviously been going on for some time.

It's good to learn though...not complaining. Just somewhere else to go read instead of quilting. :)

I just found out about it this week. One of my posts was merged and I didn't know where it went or why so I PMd Patrice and she explained it all to me. Now I can use it, too. Learning new stuff is a good thing. :)

I didn't know that either...but, I also don't see a link to it anywhere. How do you get there from here?

If you go to "Home" at the top of the page, you will see a list of all the sections.
If one of your posts comes up missing, click on "My Posts" or "My Topics" (if you started it) at the top of the page and you can get to it even though it is moved to another section.

Also in the bottom navigation bar, PDA is Personal Diaries and Announcements.

I never read the personal and diary section...Id never get anything else done!

Quilterella, in order for me to get to this section, I have to start with the Home at the top of the page and then scroll down to the All Sections at the bottom. Click on it, and it will give you more options. If you check the square, I think that section will appear on your home page each time. I haven't checked mine, mainly as an attempt to not tempt me. I spend enough hours on this Board. :)

Oh but we have so much fun in PDA land. ANd you get to know other members better and form even more friendships. Glad you are all finding us there. I have seen a lot more posters there and new threads being moved there so members follow them into PDA-land and discover a whole new world. LOL. HUGS♥♥
