I buy fabric from them at times, but rarely.

But, they had all their batiks on a 50% off rack. They charge 7.99 a yard, so I got them for 4 bucks a yard. I purchased 6 yards of great splashy, loud, vibrant batiks. They were a little heavier weight. It was a hundred percent cotton, but it was almost for apparel.

I didn't care. I bought them anyway.

Six yards for $25 is nothing to pass up.

I'm on my way to get some more ...

Well, Hancock needs money. Tons of stuff are on sale in there 50% off.

I love going to Hancocks. They nearly always have in store sales on some type of quilting material and the employees know me by name. They know the kind of things I like and let me know if there is a good deal going on for my favorites. Only problem is I can't walk out of there without some kind of material. Oh well. There could be worse addictions. LOL

I don't usually buy their fabric, but I buy all kinds of fusable fleeces and things for the handbags/totebags I make.

Their batiks are not the best in the world, but these were just fine for me.

I got these (which photo doesn't do them justice) and am going back for more.

These are heavier weight than I'm used to seeing. I see the Indian women buying this stuff for those beautiful outfits they wear.

The one in the back is Laurel Burch. It didn't come from Hancocks.

One looks like a Laurel Birch...up top
I will have to check out the local Hancocks and see if there are any great sales.
Thanks for the possible heads up

I saw those the other day when I was there. Hancock is just 2 miles from home and my car automatically knows the way, hee hee. The nearest Joanns is 25 miles away.

The batiks are pretty!
