I LOVE equilter.com !!!!!

I have never been soooooo happy. New Years eve I was putzing around on the QB and found out about equilter.com...so I checked it out. LOVE Clearance...anything. BUT especially marked down fabric. WELL, $378 dollars later I had ordered 47 different fabrics at 2 yds each (5 were less than 2 yds). Sew.....the packages arrived today. These are the MOST beautiful, quality fabrics I have ever purchased. (and I'm already a huge connecting threads fan).

Excuse me....I need to go play with my fabrics. :p

JBeamer 01-11-2013 11:53 AM

Enjoy all those fabrics. I'm drooling. LOL

DebraK 01-11-2013 12:05 PM

They have some wonderful stuff.

katier825 01-11-2013 12:15 PM

They have so many beautiful fabrics! I love to browse thru, especially the clearance.

I am going to check them out. Not that I need any more fabric :o. But it won't hurt to look.

asimplelife 01-12-2013 06:29 AM

I made a stash investment with them too during their sale, haven't received mine yet but have been notified they are getting caught up so it should be soon!

Enjoy!

QuiltingKrazy 01-12-2013 06:45 AM

WOW! $378 later??? now that is the way to start the new year off !

TinkerQuilts 01-12-2013 07:17 AM

I love equilter.com too. And it's nice to know that a part of your purchase goes to charity!

gabeway 01-12-2013 07:19 AM

Lucky you!

their patterns are extremely affordable too!!

quilttiger 01-12-2013 06:34 PM

eQuilter.com is great....if you click on the image of a fabric, you get a detailed description of the print, such as the diameter of flowers etc. It also suggests coordinating fabrics and/or colors. The quallity is excellent, too. Sometimes there is free shipping. If you sign up for the newsletter, you get the heads up on clearance deals, etc. And there is so much more....

quilttiger 01-13-2013 03:50 AM

I almost forgot to add that eQuilter.com has an excellent search engine...if you are looking for fabrics by a specific company or name such as Timeless Treasures, Debbie Mumm and so on. there willl be a listing of the fabrics for that category. You will see a spectrum of colors across the top and you can take your cursor and click on a color you want...need I say more? The way the prices are, I always check the clearance section :D:thumbup:

well i might even have that one beat, i placed an order with connecting threads, 52 1/2 yard pieces and 5 pieces of 4 yards, with 2 pks of thread, 8- 1200 metres, all for $162. the nice part is i was able to get fabrics from the same line so it blends great. needless to say i was thrilled. i also found another site, www.quiltfabriccloseouts.com i ordered 10 yards of different lines. it arrived yesterday and i have never had such beautiful quality fabric. just holding it and touching it was beautiful. i can guarentee you i will be a return customer.

like craftsygal63, i have to go play with my fabric. the only downfall of all this is its so beautiful i am hesitant to cut it. wouldn't want to damage it. lol thanks for listening

Your post was timed perfectly for me. I had looked there before but didn't order. My first grandchild is expected in June and the parents want a rock star themed nursery. We had only found boy prints before, but I searched for "music" and there is anything we could want.

sept97 01-13-2013 05:59 AM

I've ordered from them too, they have very nice fabrics.

nygal 01-13-2013 06:01 AM

I order from them often. They have a huge selection and fast delivery.

llweezie 01-13-2013 06:56 AM

I Love www.thousandsofbolts.com they too have awesome 4.95 a yard fabrics and I have never been dissapointed in the fabric or freight delivery!! They even have the color match wheel which is great... !

sustraley 01-13-2013 06:58 AM

craftygal--LOVE your avatar. What kind of dog is that? Beautiful fabric you purchased!!

Pat G 01-13-2013 07:02 AM

I really love them, too. If I need something special I can usually always find it there. Plus, I've had wonderful customer service.

MargeD 01-13-2013 07:16 AM

I'm glad you had so much fun New Year's Eve and were able to order such fantastic fabric. With that fabric as inspiration the results should be gorgeous.

JanieH 01-13-2013 01:44 PM

I also love equilter.com. It is really easy to find fabrics on their website and they have so many choices! Love your choices, by the way.

TanyaL 01-13-2013 02:43 PM

Since I never buy more than two fabrics per line as a matter of choice and always select my own colors, etc. I find that equilter.com has the easiest method of finding matchin/coordinating colors, and then testing your fabric choices against each other digitally of any site. In fact, most sites don't even have a way for you to compare one fabric against several other fabrics to see how the colors and prints look against each other. It's also great if you are comparing one color, say reds, to see if a red in one print has more blue or yellow in it than the red in another print. I think their software is much more sophisticated and the best professionally that is on the web; truly, it is as easy to match fabrics as it is in a fabric store except that their inventory is much, much larger.
