I need all the help i can get!!
 
Hello, my name is Bonnie and im pretty new to quilting!! Ive made several rag quilts but I don't know how to nake anything else any suggestions or books I can read would be appreciated!:)

Go to youtube, type in quilting tutorials and you will get hours and hours of lessons.

Hello and welcome. If you go up to HOME on this forum and the scroll down to tutorials you will find everything that you will need to get you started on making whatever it is that you are after. This board is great and you only just have to ask and you will get such a helpful lot of information.

I agree on checking the tutorials on-line. For some patterns, try Rail Fence or Chinese coins - both you can get on line by googling. Also check out your local quilt store or even JoAnns - they'll have beginner classes. Some people can pick it up by working on their own and others benefit from the class experience. Think about what works for you and go that way. The advantage of a class is that there's an instructor and other students who can help with problems when they occur.

Hello and welcome aboard. I agree with what has been said already. all good advices. That's what I did and there are many web sites that are very helpfull

I thought Eleanor Burns' Log Cabin book was a good first book. The directions were clear and the quilt was pretty but easy to make. The rail fence is also easy to make, yet looks striking.
