#1 I like the rail fence.

I like them both, but #2 is what I would pick. I agree the fabric is very calming. Good job! He'll love it.

As soon as I saw the photo I thought how pretty the fabric looked! I love the first layout best for me.. both are fine.

I definitly like #2. Don't know why, but I don't care much for designs that form "zig-zags." I happen to love your fabric selections. Very, very pretty.

I love the low column fabrics. It will be perfect for him. My vote is the 1st lay out.
