it happens with each and every new piece of fabric you think you are going to use in a quilt. Get used to it and take a deep breath. exhale half out and make your cut. It gets a wee bit easier each time but never goes away.

Not a newbie thing - been doing it for 5 yrs and just realized that the more complicated patterns end up giving me less trouble than the easier ones - must be the level of concentration! SO - give them a try!

Be brave. For quilters there's always a challenge ahead. A pattern we've never tried, an experiment with colors, new friends to met. Its not always comfortable but always rewarding. Just try to make one of us stop!
