As I have posted about a bit recently - I left my job that I was at for 16 years to work for an old customer - closer to my house.

I have to admit there is not much I will miss from my former employeer. There are just that select few people who have made a difference for me. One of them gave me a gift card for Joannes. If you can get there today - check it out!

I got 10 yards of fabric - 2 yards of interfaceing, and thread (it was the only thing not on sale and I HAD to use my coupon!) for almost exactly $25.00 which was what my gift card had.

I think I really lucked out today. I know many times the quality of some of the Joannes material is not that great. The blue and brown is flannel, the rest is cotton and it is a very nice cotton. I am suprised it was on clearance.

The new job is great! They say the grass is not always greener - but the grass here looks pretty good!!!
