Ideas!
I have 2 rolls of 18 each "Stone Rolls #1 warm from Northcott. I would like to make a queen size quilt for the bed in my husband's office. I can't seem to come up with a pattern. I would love some ideas from you creative ladies. Much appreciated! :)

Pardon my chuckle--my first thought was "what kind of work does her husband DO?!?!:p

oooooo maybe do a a jelly roll quilt of some sort. if its a jelly roll if its 10" square roll then maybe find a nice fabric to go with it then a dnp might look good. maybe a double dnp. just a thought.

How about a stained glass quilt?
You could pick out a couple of other Northcott Stonehenge's for the "leading". It would be much subtler than mine ... but with the warm Stonehenge's it would make a beautiful quilt. http://www.quiltingboard.com/introdu...a-t112573.html See post #17 for the quilt photo and post #98 for the pattern details. |

I did forget to mention that they are fat quarters. |

that means that you have roughly a 1/2 yard of each color maybe. hmmmmmm. definitely hit the moda bakeshop. I would also maybe find some yardage to go with this. I am not sure how well 36 FQ would fit a queen size bed. it all depends on the pattern you choose.

I love the Stonehenge fabric line! I think this Moda bake shop pattern Simply Woven quilt would work for it. I'm going to do this in batiks and will be using FQs from my stash.

I have a pattern called "Fractions" that is fat-quarter friendly, and works up pretty easily. I have made one for each of my DGS's and each one looks so different. Can be masculine, or feminine. Wish I could remember who it published by. I have made so many, I don't need a pattern for it any more. Just added different outside border to each quilt.
