Is it a MUST to go across the bridge to Hancock's of Paducah? Is there anything down there that a quilter (or quilter wannabe) would really want to see/go to?

have fun and do a google search for cool quilt shops in the areas you will be visiting, I would call first to be sure they are still in business and to find out hours, and driving directions

Paducah is about an hour drive from Williamson County in Southern Illinois.
So it really isnt too far :D
Shopping is great there, i hope you go and enjoy it :D
