I'm new quilters (7 quilts done) and would like to get a quilting magazine subscription. What do you think would be the best one?

I have a few coming now, but I like The Quilter the best. I think it has a nice variety of quilts to choose from.
|
I like McCalls Quick Quilts. I got mine today and wondering when it runs out. Yes, I know it tells on the label, haven't look yet.
|
I buy Quilt magazine every now and then but I don't subscribe to any magazine now. Everything is online that is in the magazines.
|
"Threads" magazine is my very favorite. I put myself to sleep at night reading them. And I keep every one.

McCall's Quilting is probably my favorite, especially for patterns, but Quilter's Home is the most fun to read.
|
I, too, like to read Quilter's Home the best.
|
I love to read Quilters Home but I like the patterns in Quick Quilts.

The Quilter Magazine. I have never been disappointed in any issue that I have received.

I like American Patchwork & Quilting by Better Homes & Gardens; Quilters World and McCalls is good too. I just enjoy the new designs and info and I really like getting the templates that some magazines provide with some of their patterns.

Down Under Quilts - an Australian publication - is available free for at least the first two years if you subscribe to the digital edition. i enjoy the magazine itself as much as i do the "free".
http://www.creativelivingmedia.com.a..._under_quilts/ a subscription to the printed Quilter's World Magazine is only $19.97, plus $1.98 postage and processing (Canada $9.98 p&p, US funds). you get the first issue as a free preview. if you decide to pay the invoice you get another 6. https://ssl.drgnetwork.com/ecom/hwb/...rg=HWB&publ=QQ the digital version is $14.97 a year (six digital issues plus online access to the previous 2 years' issues). i assume you get the archive access with the printed subscription, too, but can't verify that since i'm a digital subscriber. https://digital.quiltersworld.com/order_form.php |
Australian Quilters Companion. It also includes a *free* DVD in a hard case with each issue.

Personally I do not subscribe to magazines anymore...I just can't bring myself to get rid of the one's I have read or that have not much of interest...I borrow magazines from the library or buy second hand..the money I save, I use to buy books.

I don't subscribe to any but sure do like to pick one up every few months. Only problem is I haven't tried to use any of those pattern yet. Going to go look through them again tonight. Want to make Halloween purses for my granddaughters.

I only subscribe to Quilters Newletter, I like to read the articles! I really haven't worried about the patterns, I design all my quilts using Electric Quilt.
|
I enjoy all those already mentioned, I have a subscription to Fons & Porter's Love of Quilting [belong to Quilter's Club of A. & QNN tv, must admit I sometimes stream a show during my lunchtime] and Quilter's Newsletter.
