Graph paper is still a good thing.

I think the biggest lie my parents told me was "someday you will use and be glad you took Trigonometry and Calculus" .
Graph paper can be a quilters best tool.

Hated anything tougher than add, subtract, multiply and divide. Barely made it though H.S. algebra. But boy, do you ever use the basics with quilting.

I bought the ruler the other day. It's for use with 3 inch and 4 1/2 squares and I want to make a 60 by 80ish quilt so I opted for 6 inch squares. They will show my window fabric off better too.

When I get a couple rows done I will post.

Ten minutes with graph paper and it was done!

I just looked up this book and OMG that is going to be so pretty! You have a fabulous way with color and I am sure it will be stunning!!! Looking forward to seeing how it is going.
