International Quilt Festival of Ireland 2012
 

Hi everyone!

I've just signed up and am all ready to head to Ireland next June for the International Quilt Festival of Ireland 2012!!

I'm so excited. I've always wanted to go to Ireland and I thought this is the perfect opportunity to visit such a beautiful country while participating in a festival about what I love - quilting! I've already signed up for a few of the craft classes that the festival is offering, i.e. tapestry weaving and felt making! My husband isn't too keen on the whole craft scene so he is planning on signing up for some of the activities that the festival has organized for non-quilters, including his favorite - golf! I'm very excited to see the guest speakers as well, including Jinny Beyer!

I've been looking around their website for the past few weeks now and it's getting me even more excited for the festival. They have so many cool and unique things going on with this festival, including one my husband and I have to look into - hot air balloon rides!

Is anyone else heard of it or is even heading to this festival??
