Okay I have only one more side triangle to do on my dd's quilt and then on to boarders and maybe another set of blocks. Well hit a very very very very HUGE snag. I ran out of the pale blue fabric I am using. I want to cry!!! and say a few bleeps. But will just take it that I need to take a break and rest. going to hit a quilt shop tomorrow morning to get the needed fabric. Only need probably like a skinny quarter maybe a bit more than that for the last triangle block. getting more so that I can use it else where. But why does this have to happen to me tonight. blehhhh. this ever happen to you? its enough to make one crazy huh.

I have had a similar experience before. It is sooooo frustrating. ((Hugs))

Oh yes! Sometimes it becomes a change in design....It will work out and be beautiful!

Oh I do hope you can find it! It seems just when you see the light at the end of the tunnel, it turns out to be an oncoming train!

It's called Murphy's Law and I am sure that you will find a solution. Sometimes those snags end up in a better quilt.

Whats bad is when you find out that the material is out of production and you need three 3 1/2" squares..........

Dont ask how I found that one out.

YUP!! My avatar :) I had redesigned the pattern, decided I wanted the black at the bottom to continue. Well ... it's not "quite" the same black that was used elsewhere in the quilt, and could not get the original black print.

Oh well.

Yep! It's frustrating when that happens. Last year at this time I had a similar problem but I couldn't get the fabric here in town or online because it was WM fabric. I put a request on the QB and got my fabric from 5 different states thanks to these wonderful quilters. It turned out to be the most expensive quilt I ever made but was well worth it.
I sure hope they have what you are needing.

You could put a request in the classifieds here - someone might have it if you can't find it at the quilt shop.
