I have this machine as I know some of you do also.
I want some designs on Sew Swell Designs
But they call the machine Janome Customizer. I`ve never heard it called this. Are they the same? The file name of jef is right.

it is my uncerstanding, as long as the (jef) is right it will work.

Customizer is a Janome program that allows you to change size and some other features of the design. It is not a machine.

I bought Customizer 2000 to go with my old (new) Janome. It is software so you can adapt pictures to embroider.
