I got a 6600 the end of August and have just started using it. I have made 3 blocks with the 1/4 in foot and they are coming up about 1/8 inch short. Can you move the needle to the right to get a scant 1/4 inch. I think that would solve the problem.

I find it best to not judge on one seam ... sew together three 1-1/2" strips and measure to see if it equals 3-1/2". If not, move the needle again. Good Luck! |

If you use your accufeed and the 1/4" foot that goes with it, you will be more accurate

i don't piece much with the acufeed but i use 4.0 to get a perfect 1/4"

to the right. I do the 1/4" test with the three strips (as explained above) every time I start a new project and it saves me a lot of grief. |
