Judy neimeyers flowers for my double wedding ring quilts

Okay so my baby is three, and this might sound odd, but I want to make this quilt for my baby's wedding one day, and since it seems like a difficult patterns, I was wondering what others thought of this pattern. If you made it how long did it take. I already have the kit for her dragon star pattern and will do this long before I attempt the DWR quilt. I have done different quilts but have not done any difficult patterns yet so I am not at the level yet for the DWR but was wondering for those more advance how long did it take you to be comfortable with a pattern like this. What pattern do you recommend I try before tackling one of these. I have done some drunkards path piecing which wasn't too bad. However I still feel like a begginer intermediate when it comes to my piecing experience

You might check this out: http://www.freespiritfabric.com/grap...erys/t97_1.pdf
and www.quilterscache.com has a similar paper pieced one.

I am anxiously awaiting for my Rings that Bind. Going to make DWR with it for my son. Check it out, you sew around a circle but no curved piecing as far as I can tell and it is QAYG. There is a video online you can watch that demonstrates.
