June Taylor Grid Marker/Shape Cut
I bought a bag of quilt related things at a garage sale and in it was a June Taylor Grid Marker. It reminds me of a June Taylor Shape Cut but is of more light weight plastic. I have used it and is it ever slick. I was wondering if those that have the June Taylor Shape Cut also use it as a grid marker when marking your tops for quilting. It is sure a time saver.

I just use mine for strip cutting. Handy for strip cutting scraps. Mine is the Shape cut.

I think the slots are too close together to use as a strip marker.

i bought the grid marker many years ago and have never used it

No way to get a marking tool into the lines of the ShapeCut (unless maybe if you use a pounce pad -- haven't tried that). I put the sandpaper dots on the bottom of mine so it doesn't slip on the fabric. Works great!
Ohhhh.... wait, I just realized that "slick" can mean both "slippery" or "amazing". If you meant the latter, then dots aren't needed & congrats on your wonderful find! |

I bought one when they were on sale at JAF. I make mostly scrappy quilt so I very seldom get my Shape cut pro. It is just too big for me to handle.

I'm with QuiltnNan, i haven't used mine either. yet.

I have the Shape Cut and I do really like it. I seem to be wearing some of the slots out though :)
