I went to the LQS today and bought some wonderful fabric I had been eyeing since before Christmas. It is just sassy and bright, a real happy fabric collection. Pattern calls for 10 FQ's or regular 1/4 yard cuts. I pick my 10 fabrics, choosing also the fabrics the binding, backing, and a couple of ruffles. I add those measurements plus the 1/4 yards and I'm off to the register. I cut everything out and realise I forget to add the 1/4 yard of the fabric I chose to make the ruffles and you know it was 9 o'clock at night. Arghhhh! Oh well, I just sewed and pressed as far as I could. Off to the LQS in the morning for sure! Thanks for letting me vent! LOL! I hope all your quilting adventures went better than mine today!
