Krinkle paper in baby blocks & playthings

Does anyone know what the krinkle paper material is that goes in baby blocks and things? If so, where can I purchase it? I'm making playmats and baby blocks for charity and want to use it (and it will be washed as well) Thanks!!:o

one blog I visited recently used empty wipe packages ( the plastic wrap) but it did say not to use the dryer.
I am sorry, I can't remember where exactly I saw this.

This may be the tute Pattia is referring to. You can also goggle "crinkle fabric" and you will find sites that sell the fabric.

If you scroll down toward the bottom she says she has washed and dried it may times with good results.

Someone told me that she used the wax paper liner from cereal boxes.

I use the cellophane that you wrap gift baskets in. I got it at my local Ben Franklin store.
