I have no pictures Because there was nothing to show. I made this label with my perment fabric pen. Inorned it to set the ink. sewed it on my quilt. Made a big mistake here. Washed my quilt so I could get that old world look. looed at my label and all my infromation was gone. Now what do I do? I know I have to rewrite it. Has this ever happen to you? What do I use now? The pen was just bought last month and was a Micron.

Thats crazy that Micron came out, I have never had it come out! and there have been a few times I WANTED it to come out. lol

You could take the label off, draw out what you want, and embroider it! I love the look of embroidered labels!

As a habit I do but this is a birthday gift for a little gril today.

B/C time is running (ran) out, maybe you could write your information again, give her the gift, and get it back later (hopefully) and embroider it...or have her visit with you while you embroider it especially for her--maybe having her help (not sure how old she is).

I have actually drawn a label and did the writing with what I hope was a permanent marker directly on the back of the quilt. I figured if I messed up I could always sew a label over the mistake. It turned out great. My backs are usually solid color or plain muslin.

you're kidding. it came out? Micron pigma pens are permanent. i always heat set mine too and have never had trouble. i've also used jelly roll pens. if you pen was different, i'd get another brand and write on the label again. you can do it even though it's sewn in. then heat set and hope for the best. but do a test piece first and wash that. should tell you if your label will last. sorry you've had trouble.
oops, just saw your pen was a micron. odd.very odd.
well make a label with embroidered info on it and stitch it over the old one by hand. that shoudl do it.

Fabrico pens ARE permanent.

I had a class once in which the instructor explained that Permanent Ink markers were not actually permanent, however the Fabrico pens are. I can't remember exactly why the common Permanent markers are a problem, however she did mention it washing out.

i use a Pigma pen, so far no problem. You can get them in various colours as well.

If I were you I would do what someone else suggested and write over it again.
