Yes. Layer cake, from what I understand, is Moda's term for 10" blocks of fabric. Other places, such as Connecting Threads, refer to them as stacks.

As already confirmed, layer cakes are 10" squares.

If you go to the Moda site, you can get the inside scoop on all of their Bake Shop items .... Honey Buns, Dessert Rolls, Turnovers .... and more! :)
